MANAGER (LOCAL ROADS) / MANAGER (RMCC CONTRACTS)

Council is seeking a professional to fill the role of Manager - Local Roads or Manager (RMCC Contracts). While it is highly desirable for the applicant to have an engineering degree qualifying for membership of the Institute of Engineers (Australia), it is not essential for a well experienced person.
Coonamble is situated 560 kilometres from Sydney and 160 kilometres north of Dubbo in the central west of New South Wales. It provides all essential services, schooling from pre-school to Year 12 including both Public and Catholic Primary Schools, infant day care, TAFE College, resident doctors, hospital and dentist. The successful applicant will enjoy a country lifestyle with all modern facilities and the opportunity to participate in the many sporting and social events that arise throughout the year. Coonamble Shire is bounded on one side by the Warrumbungle National Park and on the other by the Western Plains and Macquarie Marshes which provides the perfect combination of a rich history and country living.
Council offers five year renewable contract with an attractive salary package of around $85,000 that includes cash component of 76,000, 9% superannuation and vehicle for limited private use.
